Newport Nobby, Karhedron, thanks a million. It means I've set myself a bit of a re-livery  task, but it will be worth it.

 :greatpicturessign: - Both of you.

Perhaps you prefer modern Southern.
"Southern apologise for the late arrival of this bah-humbug."  ;)

Next question. What is the best source for transfers including late BR late crest, lining transfers, and etched cabside number plates?

This has sat pending respray for an age now. I might have a chance of getting an actual BR lined late crest version that needs repair.
Please can anyone advise me if Dapol ND-035 45xx BR lined green with late crest, is the same internally and therefore compatible for parts swap with my own; ND-014 45xx Unlined GREAT WESTERN 4523 version?

Hello? Is anybody out there? If so, I'm surprised no one has replied to my latest post above this one.

To be honest I can't help you. Mine is ND-013 from the first run and I've no idea whether Dapol tweaked anything between 1st and 2nd run.

Have you tried Shawplan?

The chassis of all the 45xx's are basically interchangable.

Thanks Nobby, @Dr Al has advised us both about chassis, so thanks to him too. Shawplan looks highly likely to do exactly what they say on the tin, but I doubt I'll need them now - oh wait, I will probably need to renumber anyway.
I'll be on the hunt for spare valve gear and just put the ND-14 back together in all its GW glory to sell on.

Fox Transfers is where to look for decals, and DCC supplies for spare valve gear.

Alan
