G W R Railcars
« on: March 21, 2016, 10:20:17 pm »
As well as the GWR Streamlined Railcar 32- 50 and the GWR Twin Railcars available now 57- 50 how many people would be interested in the GWR Parcels Railcar this would be a direct fit on a Farish chassis or a Tomytech TM 17 with Farish bogie side frames unless we can get them printed as well , it would probable be the same price as the Stream lined car 32-50 if we can get an idea how many people are interested it would help Ray from BH Enterprises to order with confidence that they will sell.

Hi Bob, I'd definitely want to buy at least one GWR diesel parcels railcar kit but a model of the later series which could tow a tail load rather than the earlier streamlined ones. I'd prefer to use it with a Tomytech TM 17 chassis but with printed rather than Farish bogie side frames. The option of buying a transfers set for GWR or BR would be a nice bonus.

Best wishes,
Chris

Chris in Prauge The parcels car is the later one nicknamed razor edge cars I have tried to get Ray to do a complete kit with chassis side frames and transfers but he just doesn't have the capital to speculate ,as you can  appreciate this is only a hobby not a full time shop or company ,but I will keep trying.
Email him to let you know when the bodies will be in stock please mention me in the Email.

A bit of a hi-jack of this thread as I was trying to email an order to BHE, but have tried 3 times now (the same email as you shared above) but not had a reply - just tried phoning the number on the website, but get told the number is not recognised - is there a better way to get in touch with him?  He had some items that would be great for a Golden Arrow set I am working on

Appreciate any help you can give

Cheers,
Andrew

Just by the by, there were 2 GWR parcels railcars. The first was the streamlined style (17) and the second was in the later angular style (34).

Well, that's just not good enough. Some fount of all knowledge you are!   ;)
