Hello

A tiny progress step.
Ground cover is on.
I painted 1st layer of ground cover area but I forgot to bring it to the track level.
So 2nd layer is on top of painted ground cover.
Probably I'll put 3rd layer where I need to fix the contour.
Most likely it wouldn't matter if I put on one more layer or not.

My problem is that I don't remember how I constructed the scenery and colors.

Andy, any prospect of a new video?

Dats

Dats, I really don't know if I'll ever be able to do another video.  I really don't like my videos when I do them all in one take, but I suppose it's better than nothing.

Leave it with me to think some more....

Hi Dats, What type of video editing software do you use? I've used Windows Live Movie Maker in the past to create some of the videos on the Long Valley Railroad.  My memory is not as good as it use to be, so you may have already answer this question Andy, but are you using a Windows based computer? or Apple?  Windows Movie Maker came installed on my Windows 7 computer.  I'm not going to say it's the best movie making software available, but the price was right for me "Free". Here are a couple of short videos I made with Windows 7 Movie Maker.

Cheers,
Rich S.

Hi guys.

My Holiday seasons start with Captain Andy's special video every years.
What would I do if I can't watch M&HRR holiday special?!
I'm lost, Andy! I'm lost!!
Please save my joyful season.

Rich, I've been using my daughter's iPod.
Everything done with iMovie app. Once I uploaded to YouTube, I would delete it because it doesn't have a big memory.

My layout progress is slow now.
I'm waiting for Spackle compound to cure.
It takes forever!!
I remember that it took me 6 weeks to make my extension road.
This time, I'm hoping that I can make it a little faster.

How are you doing, Bealman? Are you getting hot weather there or not yet?
Andy, please save me.

Dats
P.S. Webbo, where are you? Still in somewhere in USA?

Hello

I'm still working on plaster road.
I realized that the right side of slope is not tall enough for the adjoining yard section.
So I plastered for 3rd time.

I'll sand it down and supposedly it will be a slope road.
Yes, It's hard to believe. I can't believe it myself.
See what happens.

Meantime I took a photo which titled "Excuse me, can you move  :censored: shipping carts?"

Dats
P.S. Andy, please save my holidays.

Hi Dats

Back in Oz now. Had a terrific visit to the US - 3 days in New York and 1 in Washington (D.C.).

What's going to happen to the shopping carts? Very good photo, nicely lit, good depth of field and exciting subject matter.

Hello

Yes, Bealman. My bus stop is getting crowded as well.
The bus stop is a deadly place, Bealman. Because the bus would never come.
I simply don't owned any N size bus....yet.
Only shapeways has a bus that appropriate for 80's LA bus. 🚌
And thy are really expensive!!!

I sanded and painted the road.
I used a lighter gray colour. Hopefully it'll be sun baked looking road when I finish.
I want to be a beaten-up back road that right next to a railroad track.
My rubbish plaster work is working well on this.

I'll fix it here and there and move on to finishing the ground cover.
I just looked pictures of the road from a couple of weeks ago. It looks like exactly same on the photos but I think it's improving a bit.....I think.... I hope.

Webbo, are you coming to US again soon?

Hi, Daffy. How are you doing? Thank you for visiting a Low Tech Layout thread.

By the way, what's the PCF competition on photo loading page?
And how can I edit my first post? It doesn't let me change it.
My layout is not in a closet any more so I want to change the subtitle.

Iím fine thanks Dats.  And low-tech layouts are right up my street.  :)

Or should that be right down my track? :hmmm:

The road looks good by the bus stop, which has a distinct air of a place olí Daffy would avoid!  :uneasy:
