any new european trams out soon???

apart from the kato 4 wheel duwag and the arnold GT6 will anything else ever be released????

you'd think the german market at least would support a few more trams in n gauge...

New Duwag M6 tram coming out this month from Lemke/Hobbytrain

They are also doing a DCC version with sound! But that doesn't come until early next year

One of these 5 section West Midlands Metro trams would suit me. This one was at the new Bull Street Stop in central Birmingham a few days back.

Further to my earlier post, the Lemke Hobbytrain M6 trams I ordered arrived today  :bounce:

Sorry for the cruel closeups! Also they are not pink but red, it's just a cheap camera  :-[

very nice

I will get one later this year

It would be good to have a 3 or 5 section modern tram as all existing models are short 2 section ones

Tomytec do a static 3 section tram, which can be fitted to a Tomytec motorised chassis.

DM-Toys have some sound equipped trams

https://www.en.dm-toys.de/newsletter.211/items/newslettere276.html

They are the same trams as in my pics above... but mine is just the basic version, I couldn't afford the DCC sound version - The price works out to more than 200 each!

Although I did watch one of the preproduction sound ones at the Stuttgart show in November, very nice audio, it even has a little automated announcement saying what the next stop is (I think that's what it said anyhow... my German is rusty!)

M6 runs very well, but I had to send one back because of faulty wiring, and had another one (which I bought at a later date second hand) had the same problem, so if you are thinking of getting one make sure you test it first! Just a couple of wires between the two halves coming away, needed resoldering

I was assured by the Hobbytrain people I spoke to at Stuttgart last year that they will be bringing the M8 out in more varieties in future, I think they are just being a little cautious at first as (I believe) the M6 didn't sell as well as they wanted
