Got the west bank abutment basecoated today. Looking nice a grey...

Also spent some time on the rolling stock. Or rather the rolling stock loads. Vampyr Panthers and hamomags are almost ready for painting. Just the IR spotlight to add.

West abutment painted and installed. Track and landscaping to follow.

Also more work on the IR panthers and half-tracks. Although I'm pretty I'm pretty sure I could have gone with stock ones as most people wouldn't know the difference...

Al - as someone living (no thanks to United Utilities) in Lancashire will you ever be exhibiting the layout such that we can see it 'in the flesh', please?

Will you be having little paratroopers drifting down from the ceiling?  :smiley-laughing:

A bit more scenery work this weekend. Turned may hand back to the Erpeler Ley AA battery and started the wooded area to the rear of it. Still got to get the trees. I reckon I need about twenty for this area.

Looks fantastic! I was at the bridge (well what remains) less than a week ago and your model truly captures the width of the rhein! You don't happen to have a trackplan by chance?  :P I look forward to seeing it develop.

Another slow progress weekend. I've spent what little time I have to the Erpeler Ley battery. I've started getting the vehicles painted and also been working on the details.

Hope to get back to some more track laying soon.  :D
