With hindsight I would go along with Mito.  My layout is small so the topography was more or less decided very early on but as regards the scenic aspect ideas can change as the layout progresses.

Another little Update, fitting the track droppers:



I also have done my first proper DCC conversion, on a Graham Farish 57xx pannier tank. I have filmed this too, but I need to edit it together before I can upload it.

Update 7 of Jennings Quay is now complete. Big step this time, the track is now glued down! Also got the point servos mounted.

These are mounted with 3D printed mounts available from MERG.
