Nice jobs - might be worth touching the the coupling hook in on "Hood" in black just to finish off.

Cheers,
Alan

Lovely work on those locos. I agree with Alan that some black or gun metal paint on Hood's coupling hook would be the perfect finishing touch to an awesome model.

Happiness is a completed loco (two, in fact)!

Jubilee "Hood", re-assembled and nameplates added:

And the Princess (although that rear pony truck could do with a lick of paint, I think):

More as they file across the workbench! :)

True. But the Princess will be up for sale once I've had a play she's running to my satisfaction... ;)

I thought you of all people would be all over Ebay at the moment, it's dripping with Jubilee's going for 50 - 60.

Then you speak to the nice Ozymandias, then you can have lovely loco's like Hood.

The Despair Depot has had some management/child/work-enforced leave of late, but as ever when left to my own devices I scuttle back to the workbench...

The "bought broken but very nearly fixed" department:

Now I've not got the kids staying, I can fire up the airbrush of an evening ("Aww, Daddy, your compressor is soooo loud and we can't sleep when you use it." Philistines... :unimpressed:). The paint room...:

Many, many more things on the go - pics when I get the chance! :)

Kids! They don't know how good they've got it. When I were a lad... - actually, better not go there :D
