New Water System
« on: April 01, 2014, 05:00:26 am »
I just had a look at this after receiving a press release on it. Amazing!

A Holographic Water and Waterfall System has been released today. Resolution allows it to be used with any scale down to Z with full motion holographic video. Ripples, waves and even tiny fish can be generated by the system and it can be programmed to project an image in any size area. It can project upwards generating a beautiful waterfall will full sound.

Just think of it. No more mixing chemicals and no more botched water projects. The full motion video can be seen here as well as ordering information!

The "Cliffhangar" exhibition layout has a mist system for its waterfall

I think the best one was Australian National University (ANU) in Canberra saying they were concerned about the number of ducks being injured on the roads around the campus so they had taught them to use the pedestrian crossings.  There was even a photograph of them using it.

Apparently, a Professor Drake was in charge of the program.

Kind regards

Geoff

Being Australia surely that story would have been better if they'd had trouble with pelicans rather than ducks, and hence shown them using a pelican crossing? :D

Oh Paul, very good.

During my usual walk around the Laratinga Wetlands this morning two pelicans appear to have taken up residence.  Must talk to the council about the appropriate crossing for them.

Kind regards

Geoff
