At the risk of taking this thread in a completely different musical direction...
This is what I am literally listening to right now...
I only discovered him, while having a 1980s flashback. I wanted to find the original Jan Hammer
version (from 'Miami Vice'). This 'Kebu' sounds impressive, for me, at least, as I am a keyboard player myself (piano mainly).
Kebu is from Finland, so it might be difficult for me to go and see him on tour. On the other hand, I think I might buy his CD.
For a more 'pumping' version
, this is at the end of an hour-long medley of his cover versions (and his own work): https://youtu.be/WEluiItYWno?t=1h20m43s"Doncha just lurve that image of the plane landing over the beach at St Maartens...?"
Sure, it's not going to be everyone's (musical) taste, but each to his (or her) own - just like in N Gauge. Some like puffers (sorry, kettles)
; others like electric trains (and I do have four 11-car Pendolinos on order!)
and electronic music.
Depending on the reaction I get, I might tell you about the other 'divine'
music that I have just been seduced by.
