The OP's (old)comment about removing the body with a screwdriver scares me. Finger nails only for me!

No screwdrivers are mentioned as being required for body removal, only for prying the bogies out of the chassis. On the 70 they are held in differently to other farish offerings (37/66/60) that I have and do not come away as easy.

Apologies, I misread it as being recommended to remove the tabs holding the chassis to the body.

No worries, I probably didn't word the sentence well.

I'm guessing the change in chassis/bogie interface is due to the reduced width of the 70's body.

Out of interest my example is still silky smooth.  Only gets a run out once in a while but no fettling is required when it leaves its box, unlike my 37's which take some warming up! Really impressive runner. Doesn't haul as much as my Class 60 but it is a few grams lighter. Still pulls a decent length rake and I imagine with gentle curves it'd pull more than on my Radius 2 and 3 test loop.

Well that's one gift I know I'll be getting for Xmas next year (2019) then:

I saw that somewhere recently - maybe the long list of forthcoming items from Farish. Bit of a joke really given.
