N Scale GB?
Surely not?

Surely it should be N Gauge GB

I have various guides on my forum, such as N Scale U.S.A etc. To save lots of typing I just copy and paste from one to the other and alter a few words. That's why it's N Scale and not N Gauge. :-)
I wish people wouldn't alter the URLs of their guides. Soooooo many have gone missing.  :'(

That's only my short list of links for British N Gauge. You should see my big US N Scale list.  ;D

Oook!  ;D (Yes I have the latest - it made it to Longreach, Outback Queensland, within a week of publication!)

On another note - any links, ideas or suggestions for Micro Ace Steam locos and chipping them?  I have two, destined to become a NSWGR C38 (thread started in the World list) and a VR K (not yet started - one at a time!) but putting chips in will be "interesting" owing to limited space so some thoughts to start with (owing to the limited space in the originals) would be handy.

I only have direct links to Kato installations, sorry. You might get more help at the JNS forum http://www.jnsforum.com/index.php or Akihabara Station. http://akihabara.artificial-science.org/

is there a fitting guide for the Dapol's B1 Range.

Its easy, pop off the tender body (instructions are in the box) slide out the blanking plug (:Says "top" on it) and replace with a decoder.
Test run. if nothing happens, check the decoder is the right way round.
Refit tender body

hope yours is one of the good runners :)
Cheers

Here's a link to my DCC-fitting guide on the Farish Class 04, including fitting a yellow flashing light on the roof:-

Diary of a Bachmann-Farish Class 04 - N Gauge DCC

It's a bit more step-by-step and might help someone hopefully

DCC chips in small locos
« Reply #14 on: January 27, 2012, 10:32:20 am »
Planning a new layout and I have been told that I should go for DCC as it is a new venture, but is it possible to fit chips in non DCC ready models like the Farish Jinty or other small tank engines.
