Are Dapol Mk II coaches clear, and thus suitable for stripping and re livery?

Thanks,

No, but you can take the windows out and respray them the usual way, or vinyl them anyway as the vinyl will sit around the windows if cut for the coach.

Hi Carl;

Not ideal...as matching the cutouts to the windows may not be exact.  I'm sure Adam can clarify.

There are a few people after coaches like this regularly.  Best bet is to flog them and source cheap new Mk1s...eg buffets etc....

Later;

But if it was a case of turning a B/G TSO into another livery TSO it would not be a problem right?

You could always drop Adam at Electra an email. He's very helpful and will be able to tell you what he can and cannot do. Give him an idea of stock and what you trying to achieve.

Hi

I did that a couple of years ago and i enjoyed it immensely.

We entered Italy via the Gotthard pass to Milan and then on to Verona, Venice, Bologna and Florence. We left via Ventimiglia and Monaco.

Cheers

Paul

We're going in via Brenner and stopping in Florence, Rome and Pompeii before spending a few days unwinding in Sorrento. Sounds awful...

Hope you enjoy. I know you will. We're hoping to get back to Florence next year - a lovely city. :thumbsup:
