HI all

Well I have had some great news today  :laugh2:

My youngest Daughter has today been for her 12 week scan and everything is going normal

For those that don't know Lydia is 22 and suffers from Type 1 Diabetes and Lupus (SLE)
She has lost her last 2 babies at an early stage so I have held off until now to pass on this great news

I was a little upset at first when she told me the news, not her being pregnant , but for the fact that her health has
suffered in the past  :worried:

I just hope everything carries on going well

Now my big dilemma is do I buy the "Bump" a Girly Green Diesel or a Big Boys Steam Loco  :hmmm:  :dighole:
Got to get them started early  :D

:beers:

dave

Hope all goes well, Dave. if only to be able to call you a Grandad >:D
How about a diesel as I'm sure you can respray it pink if the 'Bump' turns out to be a girl.
Then you can get some pink ballast to go with it ::)

You already can as I have 2 with my eldest

Not that I see them as she had a big fall out with her mother
and has vanished without a trace  :veryangry:

Anyway we won't dwell on that as this is the happy thread

And Ray I think I will give that one a miss  :o
It wouldn't fit in with my era or location  :D

dave

Good New Dave!

As for which one, cover all options - get both. You may not have any money left after the little one arrives.  ;D

We had 'Secret Santa' at work today and I received some great gifts....

A Network Rail Hi-Viz vest, NR gloves, NR/BR tool bag, and some Thomas bath toys....for my boys.   ;) ;D  It turns out that three of the women I work with have husbands who work for NR!!!!  I've already placed my order for some off cuts of rails for door stops. :laugh3:

Well done getting those "inside job" secret Santa presents and it was good of them to think of your two boys as well.  However if you end up with those desirable door stops I will be very jealous  :envy:  :D

cheers John.

Nice One Tank!! :heart2: :envy: Although if I started wearing a NR Highviz while playing trains I think someone would be sending for some who wear White Coats!
