I see the new Dr Who kicks off in the UK and US this Sunday.

Trailers don't look too bad (that's if you're a fan, of course)

Don't know what time it kicks off here in Oz, but shouldn't be too far behind.

Apparently as well as being a timelady, there are no daleks or any old foes, all new ones.

I'm looking forward to it - about time we had a timelady!

For Aussie fans, as far as I can ascertain, the first episode screens at selected cinemas on Monday.

I'm not that much of a fan, I'm afraid! I'll wait until it gets screened on aunty.

Moffat wrote some great stories but I think he ran out of ideas as an actual showrunner after Capaldi arrived. Capaldi's first 2 seasons were pretty poor and the series only got it's breath back in his final season by which it was time for him to go.

Time for a change and I look forward to seeing Jodie Whittaker take the helm of the Tardis.

I'm really looking forward to the new series and despair at all those that are already putting it down without actually seeing it and as for those who are refusing to watch it because the Doctor's a woman...........

Bealman

The trailers look great.

But it's a show which is probably the BBC's biggest success.

So far I haven't seen any complaints.

I'm on some sci-fi forums with my other hobby, it's been non stop since the new Doctor was announced.

Bealman

Not sure how to interpret that.

It's hasn't been seen yet, after all....

That has never stopped some people complaining. ;)

Just wondering what people thought about it, as I guess it screened over there in the UK and US.

I haven't seen it yet, but I've read enough about it already, so spoilers aren't a problem.

I thought it was refreshingly good and that Jody came across as a convincing Doctor. Looking forward to the rest of the series.
