Fates Warning - A Pleasant Shade Of Gray

Newportnobby

I have it on vinyl, along with their first album, plus 'In Search of Space' and 'Doremi Fasol Latido'
I also have them all on CD as the LPs won't fit in the CD slot in my car ;D

I will say I have put all my music from CDs into my iTunes library and, rather than risk my iPod Classic being nicked from my car, I have transferred over 7000 tracks onto a memory stick and use that instead. Oh, and I can voice activate them so no fiddling about whilst driving.

The years have been good to me, it was the weekends that did the damage.

Size matters - especially if you don't have a lot of space - and N gauge is the answer!

Oh, old stuff; all about "getting into the groove" and "vibes" printed on vy-nil or something by old hippies...   ;)
s'pose they made music with it?

And interesting vases if you warm them up a bit by leaving them in sunlight.

Just setting off to see Iron Maiden tonight. Last saw them 37 years ago in 1980 at the Reading Rock Festival.

Paul Di'Anno was Maidens singer then

While Bruce Dickenson was lower down the bill with Samson

I'll be screaming for you @marco neri

Hi Escafeld,
How much nostalgia in these pics...unfortunately I saw Maidens (1981) in Rome when Paul Di Anno left the band two days before Itslian tour...me and my friends were literally surprised that night!...
About Bruce and Samson....Iv got a photo with Paul Samson ( R.I.P.) I met him during the last and only visit in England...'til now!

Up the Irons!....
albeit Bruce' voice  after illness is not longer the same.

Marco "metalhead from Narnia" :)

...never turn you back on the ripper (judas priest)

My all time favourite Hawkwind album - Space Ritual
Pardon me bringing this up again but you may be interested in this photo from 1979/80

If you've been to a Hawkwind gig in the last couple of years you may, if you squint a bit, recognise the horizontal guy with the cheesy grin.
Yep, that's a teenage Mr Dibs!

Newportnobby

Oh Lordy. It's been 40+ years since I saw them perform 'Space Ritual' :hmmm:
