When I get chance mate on my next day off, I'll see what I can do

I've now worked out how to make it neater and smaller, hoping to illuminate interiors on my 150 & 101's at some point too!!!
I like to start each day the same, sit up and take a deep breath!
First objective for the day achieved, woohoo!!!

Just starting to paint what I have spent hours building.

I'm scared.

An historic photo.

Not so much the cutting of the first sod, but the removal of the last OO point, just visible at the centre of the pic, under what will be a temporary Unitrack N reverse loop for a month or two.
I've spent the afternoon eradicating the final patch of troublesome OO :beers:

Just finished laying the cork roadbed for the British terminus station on half of my Nova Scotia South Shore

yay!, when I get the track laid, I can finally use it as staging! for the NSSS, which I have also been making progress on with some scenery at last

Spent the afternoon giving the layout a good run and testing the loco's now it is safely installed in the new railway shed. Got engines running over all the tracks and through all the points ...... eventually  ::) but unfortunately then found that the wagons don't like being shunted into the goods yard sidings. Looks as if one of the blessed track joiners is out of line so will have to de-ballast and relay that section.

Also the whole of the goods yard appears to be no longer level and wagons tend to roll towards the entrance and foul adjoining siding entrances. May be major construction work or hopefully will be able to screw that piece of raised sundela board down further without too much difficulty.

Some great stuff happening! Love the Greyhound advert in that scene - really helps set the period!

I get more impressed by Kato Unitrack's ease of use every time I have a play.  I can see I'll need to work hard to stop it spreading beyond the fiddle yard :D

Which goes to prove the old adage: Make sure everything works OK before you ballast...

Not that I've always stuck to that...

After a 6 month lay off of any modelling getting back into the swing by working out how to get sound into my Dapol Hall, think I must just be able to squeeze it all in the tender.  It was so easy to do in the old Bacfar model, nothing in the tender so plenty of room.

This is the second part of that video.  It would all have been in one lump had iMovie not gone bits up >:(
