I think my layout might be 50 shades of RF grey and a random red 08!  :D

The 08 is running just fine now, I jigged the wiring and wheels a little to make sure all pickups were good. Also running in seems to have smoothed her out a touch, so she crawls at speed 2 and upwards... 1 is just too much to ask. :)

Another new loco on my layout.

Br Black late crest 0-6-0 Pannier tank.
N0. 8759

She needs a bit of tlc but once the service is given she should run like a little trooper, not bad for £25.

I have a poole era farish flying scotsman in LNER green 4472 coming in the post at some point and then for now I'm done buying locos, unless a bargain early DMU comes up.

The final (for now) new loco at the sheds of Nodinson Hills

Poole era 4472 Flying Scotsman in LNER Apple Green.
I love this locomotive, I just had to have one in N gauge, I did recently sell my 00 gauge one which actually funded this purchase.
Now just time to find some LNER teak coaches to match.

Saw the GF 66 'Evening Star' advertised on the KMRC web site this morning and it immediately caught my eye.  Saw it in the flesh when I popped in on the way home this afternoon to buy some tree armatures and couldn't resist!  Very definitely a Rule 1 impulse buy
Just finished running it in iaw the instructions and am extremely impressed with it :claphappy: :claphappy:

looking forward to mine arriving, email to say it was despatched from Sheffield yesterday.

Some new wagons this time, no locos for a while all spent up.

I'm not sure what classification or types of wagons and I'm certain with one being arrows of indecision it is out of era for me but what era are they all from?

This rather handsome two-tone Sulzer Type 4 has just been unloaded off the boat from Blighty, from whence it was exported as a duff Duff at a knockdown price, but a few minutes with a gear puller and a bulk pack of Bachmann gears soon fixed that.

Weekend raid on Transport Models of Preston:

The loco was a complete impulse buy, but will go with my early BR 64xx. I can feel a 1950s micro layout somewhere in the aether...

Coincidentally, my class B tanks arrived on the same day.

That two-tone 47 looks fantastic, Ian! My favourite livery for that loco.

Glad to hear you got it working nicely.
