At my last wedding I thought I'd get out of making a speech as my wifes family were all Russian speakers, but no, I still had to make one with my brother in law translating.

Now that made me laugh  :smiley-laughing:

Well good luck. I found writing a best mans speech nerve racking enough.
Then I found out it was in front of over a 100 guests!  :smiley-laughing:

At my cousins wedding he added a joke into the usual thanks.
"Why do brides wear white?"
"Because all domestic appliances come in white!"
Thankfully everyone laughed and they're still married 15 years later.  :)
Could have gone the other way...  :o

An honourable thought Mark, but I reckon he will be a bit too busy to bother with the likes of us for the next few days  ;)

Thought it would be nice to read that we remembered him, one day when his newly fully trained wife is out of the house and he sneaks back on here...!

A toast... to Findus!  :beers:
