Yep it's a difficult balance getting back to fitness, you just have to listen to your Physio and persevere.

Been feeling a bit under the weather today but I've made some progress with the scenic parts of my layout.  Decided to reward myself with a bit of playing trains.  Impressed with how well my Dapol 28xx works as a shunting loco, crawling through settrack points.  Combined with magnetic couplings there is something quite therapeutic about arranging rakes of wagons.

:claphappy: Nice phone call from Hattons just now about a small order I sent this morning apologising that they could not send it Royal Mail but would need to courier it at an extra £2. No argument from me. Great service and a  :claphappy: bouncing customer here

Hi all

Good news for once

Just got back from visiting the hospital and we have been informed that they are going to send Lydia home tomorrow  :claphappy:  :claphappy:

With frequent clinic visits and a rake of medication

Dads taxi service will be at breaking point  :D

Good news indeed, Dave
I bet it was the request for a car park season ticket that prompted them to do that ::)
After all, they said Lydia would remain in the hospital until your grandson arrived, and then you asked for a parking subsidy :D
