The other excuse to run a Scottish loco in the Midlands is that she is en-route to Toton or Brush for some extensive upgrading ???.........

At the end of tbe day, run what you like! Your layout, your rules apply!

Funny but it's surprisingly easy when you have one of these

:P

Two B/G MK3s required and a MK1, think the vinyls for the Lab car are available from Mr Electra  :)

I was thinking this too haha.

Just got my dapol autocoach in the post. A photo or two to come tomorrow. Very pleased with it I have to say.

Correct - one of the buffer-fitted power cars used for the 91s before the Mk4s arrived.

What a great project! That train will make a great talking point on a layout. While it's good to create a mundane, working day feel to a layout to generate a realistic atmosphere, it's always nice to spice it up a bit with something unusual. Go for it!

Very nice  model of a mighty locomotive Paul, its always nice to see something other than Steam or Diesel.

Toddled off to my mates s/h model railway shop again today (Sat) picked up these 3 old Farish steam locos for 20 quid each, a clean and oil worked wonders and two are running perfect but the 61xx seems to run better in reverse rather than forward, I don't find that a real problem but I will be posting another thread to ask the brains trust what can be done to rectify the slight problem.

Keep on Smiling

These would've been added sooner, if I'd been energetic enough to get the camera out!

;D

The 58 is a great little runner, and getting towards being in short supply, so I had to get one. The TMC conflat is their new limited edition. It'll go very nicely with an 08 or 03. I picked up the engineers wagons at a recent model railway fair. As I've arrived somewhat late to the party, I'd like to find some secondhand Shirebrook Breakdown Vans, also, as these vans are very nicely done.

As you can see, wiring is also progressing, slowly but surely, on my baseboard.
