Hello one and all.

Are there other Gong fans out there?  I think they are sooo good, I have about 20 of their albums.
Perhaps if we followed their ideology a bit more closely, the world would not be in such a s**t state.
Or could I be wrong?
Anyway, if Gong fans are out there, please say hi.

I suspect that if we had followed their lifestyle throughout then we wouldn't notice how s**t stuff is!

Good band. were they on Virgin Records? Back when Richard Branson was a rebel retail pioneer?

Hi Donald

Just checked the LP sleeve, yes it was Virgin.
In fact I am listening to the album "I see you".  One of their later albums.

Thanks - Ive also just found their first (i think) album Camembert Electrique hidden on my shelving - 1971, and Virgin Records.

what I want to know is - how did Spotify get to suggest Gong to me? I'm much more modern these days!

Ah well Donald,  that is one of the great mysteries of Gong, they get through to every where.
Yes Camembert Electrique was the first release, put out at around the 7 to 8 bob mark, I believe, to attract buyers.
Well it worked with some of us at least.
I have tickets for their gig in York in November, if things allow that is.

Strange that I have not heard of Gong, but I have heard of Steve Hillage.
