Good news indeed, Dave
I bet it was the request for a car park season ticket that prompted them to do that ::)
After all, they said Lydia would remain in the hospital until your grandson arrived, and then you asked for a parking subsidy :D

Do you have Scottish blood in you Dave  :-X  :smiley-laughing:  :smiley-laughing: :smiley-laughing:  :smiley-laughing:

cheers John.

I think it's the gas emissions coming from her rear end  :sick2:

They are scared of being reported to the UN for having chemical weapons capability  :smiley-laughing:

Our car valeter at work found a bag of fine grade cinder style ballast in the back of a car we bought yesterday, so that was a nice turn up for me :)

We're never that lucky. We've found a camo paint stick, some ballast and a fibre optic transceiver, but that's the most exciting we've had :(

Cor! Looks really techy.

What does it do and why - and please don't say it trancieves fibre optics?!  :)

Dave G

James C

Well it trans... oh...

It converts digital signals to light signals for transmission over a fibre optic cable... and vice versa :)

James C

Would you like another one? I think I still have it in my desk drawer as we could never find a use for it here lol :)

Thanks! Now I know what it does.

So, is it used with them-there clever DCC controllers to do something like ....?  :dunce:

Sorry for all the questions but if you don't ask, you Google!

I just spend about 30 minutes pulling open every box and draw I use for N gauge stuff, looking for a set of LEDs that I bought a few months ago for use on my scratch building project...

...and I was sure they had gone to the great lost box in the sky....but then, there they were  :claphappy:

Actually they were in the bag of bits I originally used to store all the materials for the building.. :-[ Far to logical!

Thanks to Mrs Skyline for having her living room turned upside-down and an increasingly grumpy Skyline until he could put his hand on them!

P.S. As a Brucie Bonus, they all work  :D

Hi, After spending 10 hours in Royal Glos hospital outpatients yesterday we were told Pam does not need an operation to clear an artery, it seems that it is better if it is blocked rather than just almost closed. ( how does that work??) still good news after an exhausting day. My turn to see the specialists tomorrow Ho Humm
:worried:  :(

Newportnobby

Great news about Pam, although I, too, don't tend to follow the logic :confused1:
Good luck for yourself tomorrow
