So essentially I make it in Blender 3D, texture it then mark the seams and print it to a net then bash it together. I could make anything.

Any chance of a Liz Hurley ;)

Too many polygons, especially around the middle ;D

A net is what you get when you unfold something made from paper. The simplest one you do in school is a cube net.

Hi  Mr.grumpy  thank  you for the explination  but not  all  of us  are  3D   designinng  hence  my  question   ;) good luck   with whatever you choose looks forward  to seeing it  :)

Any chance of a Liz Hurley ;)

Not sure what has happened here, there isnít much happing on the kit bash side of things, does it have to be printed on card all the time or can it be an alteration of some other kits i.e. Metcalfe, Peco, Wills, Knightwing and others, i have seen some of these done really well either extended or reduced. I know the thread is headed Card Kit but can it include plastic has well. Kit bashing is Kit bashing isnít  and making it your own is the main thing really.

Great thread by the way.

No such luck, It has gone missing between switching computers.
I found my old post on the forum with pictures of it taken in 2012 I think and a link to the site of Armada models. Sadly the company exists but the download isn't there.

It was a model of the Methodist Chapel at Newport Pagnell.

To be called pompous and arrogant - hell of a come down.
I tried so hard to be snobbish and haughty.

I "straightened" the corner pub and combined it with the corner shop and a scratch built terraced house, I used Peedie etched windows throughout.

I now do mainly scratch built buildings using a plotter cutter and associated software.

Another bash "method" I have used is to cover a plastic brick goods shed with stone embossed plasticard, also replaced the somewhat chunky windows with Peedie etched ones.

Other "enhancements" include adding Scalelink cast white metal  bay and dormer windows, gateposts, porches etc

Cheers MIKE

I have emailed them so lets see, I think they also produced the Seaforth police station that I built but that has disappeared as well. The link that is not my model this time.
