Not really sure what uses I'd find for it for modelling. It seems not really much different to a hot-glue gun.

They've been around for a while, I recall Aldi even do one, by all accounts pretty useless for modelling (or indeed anything).

I was given one a couple of christmases ago and found it's interesting but not particularly accurate as it's down to how steady your hand is etc.

However I'm tempted to break it out again as someone either here or on the Facebook group mentioned they were going to try and use theirs to make trees. Given the general wobbliness etc. it might just work.

One thing I did find it useful for initially was creating a framework for the waterfall (now scrapped) on my layout using the transparent ABS.
