Andy.
If it looks difficult it probably is, but might as well get on with it anyway!

Slightly confused by the station signs on some photos that say Watford Junction because this picture totally nails Harrow & Wealdstone! Beautiful modelling.

Looking forward to seeing more pictures, as well as any background on the various AC electrics -- what look like Class 310s EMUs as well as Class 81s or 85s.

Cheers, NeMo

Look at the links in Andyís signature, itís an enormous layout covering both stations! If you could be persuaded to just move it to the present day that would absolutely be my perfect layout, still bloody good with all that blue stuff!

Yes, it does in fact cover both stations. More pictures are included along with the construction of the Locos and EMUs at https://www.facebook.com/WestCoastSouthernSection/

What an amazing layout!  This is one of those layouts I would love to pore over at length in the flesh.  I grew up near this line between the two modelled stations and remember hearing the expresses from my bedroom.  You have nearly modelled my first workplace which was just across the road from Harrow and Wealdstone's up entrance.  My local station was Headstone Lane, one stop from H & W, Watford bound, and frequently used it to go to Watford (shopping and football matches) or to London for whatever.  I walked alongside it's route for almost three miles to get to school.  Again, great job!

Chris,

I have transferred some pictures and brief descriptions into my Gallery on this Forum. I have only had time to do the Locos at the moment, and will get the EMU data transferred across when I can. If I didn't make things clear (I probably missed out some details) please let me know any other queries you might have.

You don't need to be a Facebook member to see West Coast Southern Section on Facebook. When Facebook asks you to 'Log In' or 'Create Account' just click on 'Not Now'
