I haven't yet tried them in situ, Les, as the grass is soaking wet and I haven't been to the shed!
They do these weird things nowadays called 'shoes' - one for each foot ;) :laugh3:
But until I can get some, Mick, the cold wet grass will be uncomfy for my little tootsies.  Keep your weirdness to yourself!   :P
Perhaps the proof that there is intelligent life in outer space is that they haven't contacted us.

...and the grass is 3 feet tall  :laughabovepost:

They look pretty good for the money David I assume you will be happy having them on your layout?

I shall certainly be using them, Lawrence.  I've got a couple of Ratio signals at the moment which have working arms but are not motorised.  I may try to use wire in tube on them and put the static ones everywhere else.  I've just downloaded the signalling plans for Pencader and Henllan: 15 single-post and two bracket signals  :o to do two simple stations on single-track lines!  As that would involve a thousand quid to replicate with motorised signals, cosmetic ones in sensible places will have to do!   :ouch:

You are right about the grass being too long: rain and modelling have conspired against me since early November.

The County is cleared through to the Pencader Tunnel Loop box, the distant being interlocked between the two boxes (in my dreams!).

The single home is there just to show you the detailed back view.  That end of the station would have to be protected by a light signal in the tunnel as the point is so close to the tunnel mouth.  The signals will benefit from being at ballast height when they are finally fixed.

Quite right, Mick.  It's my Dukedog!  :-[  Wishful thinking, perhaps!

My eyesight held out while I put the rest of the kit together!

And use of the file and a bit of painting even produced a signal to control shunting into the goods yard.
