North Sanriku Type 36 tramway
« on: June 05, 2017, 10:41:06 am »
Hello.
I bought this lovely Japanese tramway.

Tomix 2655

With it, I also took the motorised chassis 0660.

The instructions, only in Japanese unfortunately, show that there is a possibility to get rid of the Rapido couplers.
But when looking at the chassis, I didn't understand how I should proceed.
Here is a scan of the instructions:

Some help would be welcome.
Thanks by advance.

The instructions say "cut the coupler off at the base of the coupler pocket".

Pedantic BTW: in Japanese terms it's a railcar, not a tram  :beers:

Can't help with the Japanese.... even though daughter maybe could in a couple of years.... she's moving there!

But it's a cool model!

Have a talk to Railsquid and some of our other Japanese modellers.
