Kato coupling compatability
« on: May 05, 2017, 10:56:32 am »
Has anyone tried using the Kato fitted buck-eye couplings with Dapol's easi-shunt system ? Can they connect and uncouple using Dapol's magnet ?

You poor soul. You are having as much difficulty as I am getting answers to Kato coupling questions. I am newly returned to Japanese N and find the coupler situation even more complicated.
After fitting a Dapol coupler to a 24 series sleeping coach I can tell you that it does not like the alternative buckeye fitted to my EF81. I will have some 2004 MTLs soon and try that but I don't hold out much hope.
