My mum was reading the last few issues of the ngs journal while over for Xmas lunch. She later rang to say she liked the cattle truck and would like one. As I gave her the two copies I can't remember which one had the photo of it. In the scene a motor lorry with a horse/cattle back on it is unloading its stock.
Can anyone advise if this is a custom built lorry or one that can be purchased either from ngs or a retail outlet
Thanks
Bart

I think you mean the one on page 54 of Journal 5/14. This truck is described in the caption as a Dornaplas kit of a Thornycroft cattle truck. These kits are available from the NGS shop, and also other places (e.g. Gaugemaster: http://www.gaugemaster.com/item_details.asp?code=DPRN06&style=main&strType=&Mcode=Dornaplas+RN6).
