Mick, I think of this album every time you advise a Newby to avoid having the track too close to the edge of the baseboard.

Best regards,

Joe

I quite like Close to the Edge, but still prefer the ground breaking The Yes Album.

The years have been good to me, it was the weekends that did the damage.

Yours is no disgrace
Starship Trooper

Here's another from even earlier.......

Shades of my youth, some of my old pals reincarnating their youth, they used to have a regular gig at the "Red Lion" in Sutton Surrey and played all over the South London area

Quote from Robin Mayhew who sent me this
Here's the story
My band The Presidents was signed to Decca Records and in the mid 1960s  a recording we made of a song titled She said Yeah as a follow up to our Candy Man release and was written by Roddy Jackson and the late Sonny Bono and was passed by Decca but somehow the acetate (the original cutting) was lost.  53 years later it has been found and is to be released by Ace Records, Harlesden, London this month(June 29th) on a compilation CD.  As lead guitarist Martin was over here from Australia for a holiday I managed to get all the original members back together and make a video of the recording.  We have a combined age of 380 years so a little older than The Rolling Stones who we once supported!!  The late Ian Stewart (the 5th Stone) was a good friend of ours and he loved this song and The Stones actually included their version on their Decca album Out of Our Heads - I always thought that was a bit odd I mean our version lost and they bring it out!

2 out of 3 ain't bad, to quote Meatloaf. My 3 choice, instead of Ragged Glory would be Zuma.

Oh, whenever I see posts come up here, I automatically hit dismiss.

However, having had a look, with all the yes stuff, making me realise just how old I am, I am starting to work out why!  ;) :beers:
