Its a war gaming yellow spray paint.  The bauxite is going to get a grey/brown wash and then it will be distressed to give a rusty deck and quite a few other touches of color will be needed to complete the effect, but I wont go any further with this for now until the other six catch up as the weathering needs to be consistent across the rake.

It has taken a few days as there is a lot of masking and spraying.  I now have the seven Salmons assembled and block painted.  Im trying to create the effect of a rusty wagon that has been repainted, as well as any repainted rusty wagon looks. :)

Bogies are in preparation and will be mounted after the transfers have been applied, some paint detailing, further weathering and a seal of varnish.

Once this is done I will start to detail the deck adding bolsters, cranes, generator, chains, rails etc.

Cranes and generator mounted, still a lot of detail to paint.

They are model ship railings which I picked up many years ago. I think they were from a Titanic kit but there are several manufacturers.
