The rebuilding/restocking begins!

I very much believe that poor performance by insurance providers should be named and shamed and of course good performance should be equally reported. When I come to renew my various types of insurance (car, house, medical) every year, I would like to know of any experience good or bad that people have had with the myriad providers. Same applies to manufacturers of model railway gear. How else do we consumers apply pressure for improved performance in our capitalist society?

I wholeheartedly agree with that, however some companies can get very funny about discussing ongoing claims on the internet and it isn't worth jeopardising the result in my opinion. Once it's all settled however any criticism/recommendation will be welcome
