Hi all,

My daughter took a video on my iPhone of us going around our club track on my 5 inch Titan.
I tried to upload it here but I can't get it to work. I'm a complete novice with this sort of stuff, I know it is probably easy but I'm struggling. I mastered the photos but I'm lost with this one.

Hi Bart,

The procedure is the same for a video clip as it is for a picture when uploading.

How big is the video file?

What type of file is it, avi, mp4 etc.

cheers John.

I thought Tank disabled the uploading of video files following the server-space issues last week? ???

I had the same problem two days ago. I also use an iPhone.

With help from one forum member  I :-

1. Downloaded the Capture app fro the App Store.

2. Gave Capture when asked permission to access my videos and my microphone

3. Used Capture to open me a You Tube channel

4. As soon as I could see my camera roll of videos selected the one I wanted to upload to You Tube.

5.  Pressed Upload and it did it.

6. Viewed my video on You Tube via Capture and selected Copy to Clipboard

7. Went to the thread I wanted and opened a new Reply. Typed the few words I wanted and then pasted from clipboard which just pastes in the address of my You Tube video.

To my utter amazement it worked.

Using my method above you don't upload a video. Just it's link.

Thanks guys for the help I will give it a go. Have never done any youtube or similar, looks like a job for the kids to show "old dad".
The original file was 132 mb but I had shrunk it to suit
Anyway I've got my instructions now as I'm sure I read tank was getting in the 5 inch gauge as well.

Can't really claim it as all my own idea. Someone helped me with the idea and I found the Capture app that made it all easy.

Just looked up who helped me.

It was Pete33. He is the "main man" on this idea.

New to me too. I felt really brave with no kids to do it for me.

Yeah..... agree with all of the above. It is scary when you have to work it out all by yourself. My oldest two computer gurus have left home and youngest guru, while still at home, chooses not to be guru-ish.

Ah well  :( I think I'll survive.
