As for the A team the sight of a group of actors mostly too old for the military, running around, behind bullet proof flowers was just to ridiculous to watch.
I think you're overthinking the show.

To quote the inestimable G'Kar, "No moral ambiguity, no hopeless battle against ancient and overwhelming forces. They were the bad guys, as you say, we were the good guys. And they made a very satisfying thump when they hit the floor."

That was the point of The  A team.

Cheers, NeMo

I don't think there was any thinking in the show...

@NeMo   Anyone who quotes G'Kar gets my vote every time!  One of my favourite characters of all time.

I'm busy rewatching it on TV, supported by a complete DVD set & digital copy ! I used to get the episodes shipped over on a VHS video ( it was passed around a group of SBs on a mailing list , so that we could keep ahead of the broadcast series.

The best SF series ever written in my opinion.( apart from DS9 and Farscape)

Yep, got the full shoebox set and The Lost Tales.  Watch it all through at least twice a year, probably 3 times. Plus the telly on weeknights at the moment just to support that a channel is bothering to air it.

Love the characters in DS9.   Farscape I've never really got into.  Firefly was god.

Firefly!  Yeah!  Someone brought the full series on to a ship I was working on in the middle east.  One episode a night.  End of series?  Start again - for two months continuous...  We had a multinational crew, some didn't even speak English, but everyone watched it.

Blakes 7 must deserve a re-run. Servalan was bad but she could have led me astray any day.
Working doesn't seem to be the perfect thing for me so I'll continue to play.

Bah!  No one remembers Blakes 7!
I do and as part of my other hobby I'm the one at the back. I again met 4 of the cast members this weekend who were busy signing photos in Birmingham :)
