Make sure you get the camera before someone who is getting it from the other end!

Just been for my 6 monthly visit to the phlebotomist. Took an armful for testing. The joys of being diabetic.

You are Tony Hancock and I claim my £5.

So sorry to hear of everyones' ailments :(

Hi everyone, if he gets a camera that's been up someones other end has Mick puts it, do not blame me I have not had a colonoscopy for at least 12 months. I used to have that record of Tony Hancock the blood donor, it was funny at the time.

Best wishes for all that are going through their medical tests.

Camera down the throat - been there - not the nicest thing.

My routine check-up due later this month but hoping for a 'no change' report.

Why am I not shocked?
I bet they've found a cheapo substitute in order to save money so tell 'em where to stick it, Jon, and get your old stuff back for you.
My Mum's doctor cheapened one of her meds and Mum ended up in hospital with similar effects to severe sunburn. That was 4 years ago and she still suffers from it to this day :veryangry:

Why can't they follow the simple rule - If it ain't broke don't fix it.

I feel for you having to endure these side effects and I hope they settle quickly.

Cheers John.

They wanted to change one of my diabetic medications that has been working well. I was a bit put out and asked why they were changing it. I was expecting some clap trap about price, but it transpired the EU drug administration had withdrawn the European license because it had been killing people. I kept quiet.
The years have been good to me, it was the weekends that did the damage.

That is one way of getting the waiting lists down  :worried:
David.
I used to be indecisive - now I'm not - I don't think.

True, but it was only occurring in Switzerland ;)

This is what happens when drug companies are allowed to do their own field trials. Apparently they had been fiddling the figures to get the drug approved. It was only when the body count started getting a bit high that someone in the US checked. Having said that, most of the medications I take list death as one of the (extremely rare) side effects.
