Day jar view or what!  I'm also missing my aluminium yard rule too   Last seen in my dad's new greenhouse.
I started out with nothing, and I still have most of it left...

GeeBee

Been feeling progressively more unwell throughout the day Temperature now 38.7 Pulse 106 and just been informed the Dr will call about 2 am  :oopssign:

Take it easy, Graham. Shame about the non alcoholic beverages. But if it's any consolation,  a recent blood test showed that my iron levels have gone sky high again (I have haemachromatosis) and my liver function abnormalities have doubled in the past 12 months.

Which means I have to go back on monthly blood dumps - but that's not as bad as what the doctor said to me  ;D

Don't go near any of those scrap yards that use huge electromagnets on a crane, George.
The years have been good to me, it was the weekends that did the damage.

I have always suffered from mild anaemia, despite my copious intake of red wine!
Always gets flagged on my annual medical checkup.
I just tell the doctor that my wife is a vampire.  That seems to close the discussion  :)

daveg

Bloomin' anaemia!  I forget a lot of stuff too, George.   :D

This does remind me that I got a 'yellow letter' from Nursie yesterday. Annual demand for a check up to prove I'm still here.

Maybe this should be in the happy thread but what I have coming up later this month I don't like - have had them before so know what to expect.
Just seen today a specialist having been refered by my GP and so the month wait was worth it in the end, Today 4 phials of blood for blood tests, a chest x ray and have before the end of the month a Barium Meal and a Camera down the throat jobby . He also wants the doctor to refer me to a chest specialist in case the problems are related.

Oh the joys of getting older.

Just been for my 6 monthly visit to the phlebotomist. Took an armful for testing. The joys of being diabetic.

Oh the joys of getting older.

Know the feeling! Went for the results of my MRI scan a couple of weeks back. My prostate is that enlarged, it is getting squashed  :o and the specialist  says there is a 'small' shadow, (it is small, they let me see the pics), but he does not think it is anything too serious, but we will find out when I go for my third biposy in about 3 months - this one under general anest, anest, annezth, I will be 'knocked out' for a bit

Anyway, I hope things go well for you.  :beers:
David.
I used to be indecisive - now I'm not - I don't think.
