She waddles a little but nothing I can't put up with. Very smooth runner straight from the box.

On the subject of renumbering the green 5MT, does anyone know which ones received green livery? So far Google not been very helpful in finding this out.

While everyone was going mad at RoS, I went a bit click-crazy on ebay.

This is one of the results:

Also displaying my new 'instant layout on the carpet': Kato on a nice, clean cotton sheet.

I picked up a job lot of locos and coaches on ebay for just under £100.

No boxes and no guarantee that anything would work.

Peco Collett 0-6-0 22xx

Dapol Southern 0-4-4t not sure what type, M7 perhaps? And Graham Farish BR Mk1 suburban brake coach

Missing a front buffer and the front coupling (I'll probably clip a replacement in the NEM pocket)

Selection of Minitrix Mk1 coaches (including with LMS logos).

Kris

It is an M7. I was watching that one, and thought that someone had a bargain.

Mito

A nice selection. I envy your purchase of the Collett. :envy: :)

Couldn't resist one of these little beauties from the Rails of Sheffield sale. Just the thing for my embryonic Southern Region branch (I'm think of a Swanage-style location but with 3rd rail).

I'll have to do some of my own units to keep it company - a 3H and 4-COR spring to mind.

Nice. Good job I don't know where to look for such things. Yet.

My latest acquisitions from the last few weeks:

[smg id=38765 type=preview align=none]

The Fairburn was a result of an eBay voucher I needed :-[ to use. The 2MT and 5MT were both from the recent Rails offers.

I've got quite a few LMS liveried locos now, and quite a few late-BR crest (which pretty much covers the period for my layout) but nothing in between with the early crest...

I've been looking out for a 2-car 101 or 108 in green (w/whiskers) but no luck as of yet :(
