10-12mm Range from MiniFigs
« on: July 09, 2017, 09:13:36 pm »
I have recently stumbled on the above range from Miniature Figurines (MiniFigs), I have known of MiniFigs for years, but did not know that about 10 years ago they started this range aimed at 10mm wargamers and N Gauge market. So this week I ordered a few to measure and see, here are the results:

WWI Rolls Royce missing turret which I need to report hence height issue, otherwise good.
WWII Humber Amoured Car was good but a bit short.
WWII Artillery Quad not so good length close to Mk1 but detail all wrong shape looks a lot better than Gramodels version.
Modern Bedford RL truck good to scale and reasonable shape.

This range is now owned by Cavalier Books and can be brought online at http://www.miniaturefigurines.co.uk/Home.aspx payment takes you to cavalier books very chunky process but bear with it. The ranges are listed under MiniFigs 10-12mm down the left hand side, I can not vouch for the rest, the order arrived in a speedy time. Aircraft are also covered but some may be in a smaller scale, I am happy with them, whitemetal castings reasonable clean and in multiple parts.

unlike many wargames shops, they offer links to photos of most of their models.

also on the website,  there is RPG MOdels with range of 1/144 & 1/160 armour

http://www.miniaturefigurines.co.uk/Catalogue.aspx?ScaleID=10&CategoryID=37

as the ranges are identical, I suspect that they are 3D printed - so ask for 1/150 1/148 versions if interested!

If 3D printed and can be scaled down just ask for 1:148, having had a look I have my doubts, but worth a question.
