I have been trying to find some cars for my village scene . It may be me but i can only find what would have been rather expesive cars and the only everyday cars are VWs or Morris Minors. Does anyone know of models such as Ford Popular,Prefect, Esquire or any other  40s/50s cars ??

Alex

Hi,

Have you tried Oxford Diecast. They do a range of N Gauge cars/buses.

I think Graham Farish do Populars and Prefects.

I have bought a couple of items from this on-line shop (e-bay) called DGM Autocraft.
I have a very small Austin seven and a rather nice 3 wheel reliant van. They are advertised as kits but are one piece white metal castings.
Some days its just not worth gnawing through the straps.

He normally advertises in the back of Railway Modeller. Sometimes the vehicles appear on ebay too.
