I think there is a difference between the results you would get with N and H0 locos simply because H0 locos are heavier and push down on the Tidy Track cleaning pads more giving a better result.

In N you get a better result with heavier diesels as opposed to small, light steam locos. I suspect that the Tidy Track was initially designed for big American diesel locos and they decided they night as well make one for N gauge too.

Having looked at silly moo's you-tube link, (especially the close ups) I would be somewhat concerned about any potentially loose fibres, from the cleaning pads, causing problems by managing to migrate into the workings of the locos during the cleaning process?
She who must be obeyed says I am spending too much time on this forum. I love her dearly but what does she know?

I understand what you mean Delboy, but I use mine frequently and have never had a problem.
 :beers:
Size matters - especially if you don't have a lot of space - and N gauge is the answer!
