Many thanks. I'll either have a beaming smile or hiding under the layout with a soldering iron in hand  :worried:

Back home from TINGS and shattered  :sleep:

Thank you to everyone who said hi and for the kind comments.

Only two casualties over the entire weekend. One push button that gave up the ghost and one Dapol Hall that decided to start derailing it's tender around 2pm on the Sunday (I've no idea why).

Yep, loved your layout.

Third casualty being the power that kept tripping out on Saturday perhaps?

Thank you.

The power didn't cause us any problems - a quick flick and it was back. The cheer that went up everytime it went out raised a smile though.

Southbridge is next appearing at Romford http://www.iwemrc.org.uk/exhibition.asp refers.

However, there was a third casualty - our feet! We had some carpet to stand on but I really need to get a pair of fold flat stools.

Hi Graham,

Great layout, I got to see it last weekend and really hope to eventually emulate that kind of modelling on my own layout! Sorry I didn't say hello you all seemed rather busy answering questions at the time!

I did get a couple of pictures though!

Looking forward to helping out again on the Sunday! :D Not to mention having a scout around the exhibition for whatever might catch my eye! Heh Heh Heh...

(That's especially if I can't find anything of what I might be looking for when stewarding at Folkestone's exhibition on the Saturday with TMRC, again, Heh Heh Heh!)

:no: :) ;) :D ;D ::) :angel: :thumbsup:

Preparation, preparation, preparation.

Today is wheel cleaning day. That's loco, carriage and wagon wheels (Boring but essential). I then found that one of the wires between the loco and the tender on one of my Manors had come unsoldered.

That loco would have been a failure before we started.  :-[
