*Ahem*, look at the poster's profile again, I think you'll find "he" is inappropriate ;)

It is an often made mistake, just look under the person's name for the icon which shows the person's gender, there are quite a few of us on the forum now.   ;)

I found it quite enjoyable actually, Di, but I have only done a single track line 3ft in length so far. No doubt when I progress to the 'Big One' I will not find that to be the case :-\

Have done the back scene and dug some of the old buildings from a past layout out of the loft, you can see I have taken a break from ballasting back to it tomorrow.

Looking really good Di. Love the Metcalfe cottages but think I would have spaced them a little further apart as they don't really work as a terrace with the roof overhang at the sides.

Just my thought for what it is worth  ;)
My layout Much Puffindun can be seen at http://www.ngaugeforum.co.uk/SMFN/index.php?topic=17426.msg173415#msg173415

They are only there temporarily as there will be a grassy bank there later.

That makes at least 2 of us, a bit like ironing, it looks lovely when it's done.   :)

Hmm, women that do the ironing AND the ballasting.  Stop teasing the menfolk ;)
