Title: Hello from Penzance
Post by: Tornado on June 18, 2017, 10:30:01 am
Hi everyone, thought I'd join and say hello. Just got back into Railway modelling after a 25 year break! My daughter moved in with her boyfriend meaning her room became available  :D

So far the baseboard is built, some track laid, station and platform built and 2 locos running. So excited to be back into it. I'll post some photos if anyone is interested  :NGaugersRule:

Welcome aboard. It's good to have another Cornwall modeller on here.
Can I ask what area/era you will be modelling ?
And yes, please do post pictures - we are a nosey lot.

Thanks everyone  :) and to answer port perrans question regarding area/era i'll be honest and say I haven't a clue at the moment other than it'll be set somewhere in the UK :D

I decided to start with a blank baseboard [obviously lol] and just see where it takes me. I don't want to be restricted in what locos I run, so if anything it'll be set in the present with a nod to the past if that makes sense  ;)

Hi Tornado, and welcome to the forum
Some pics would be good. What size space have you got to do your modelling in?

That's a good size without the extension.
Sounds very interesting.
