I saw one pass this morning on the Settle-Carlisle this morning at Culgaith.  Wasn't quite as spectacular as that though!  Two DRS 66's with a plough on each end.  I have to say that I have lived and worked next to the railway for 37 years and today was the first time I have ever seen a snow plough.

A few years ago I was staying in Horton and hiking in the area
when a snowplough went thru. Weather like today, took a
pic but mislaid it .... :(  Never mind a fantastic area or
as Yorkshirepersons would say God's own Country .
which is a pretty good description
