Tomytec chassis need either an electronic speed controller - the Tomytec one works with them - or a good DCC chip. 

The Langley rail car kits are heavy and I use a two powered chassis to power the twin set.

Yes, the Tomytec chassis goes like a rocket.  However, fine control through a zimo sound decoder certainly works for it.

Thought I'd update this with a couple recent videos.  I have just finished fitting Dapol Easi-shunt couplings to the passenger stock and locos ready for Bournemouth show this weekend, but these videos are from Chiltern Show so don't show this part of the layout.  I will post some updates again next week.
