Great buys RG, looks like you know how to get bargains on the bay.

A lot of it's down to luck Steamie+ . A few days ago, I lost out on a pair of Dapol JNAs, but the seller offered me second chance at the price of my last bid. While considering that offer, I found the pair at Rails for £10 less than my ebay bid. So a lucky escape there, but it can be easy to get carried away by ebay.

It sure can RG, thats why i stick to a limit and i will not go above it even if it's by 50p, because that's how easy it is to get into a bidding war. Very nice wagons you bought by the way from Rails.

I can't go on like this. :help: I think I need an intervention.

Dapol 2F-010-009 JNA Falcon Network Rail (NLU29299) Weathered and 2F-010-010 JNA Falcon Network Rail (NLU29348) Weathered all new from Rails.

Graham Farish 377-700A JJA Mk2 Auto-ballaster Generator Railtrack (Weathered) and x2 Graham Farish 377-701A JJA Mk2 Auto-ballaster Flat-top Non-generator Railtrack (Weathered) all new from TrackShack. These will join the x2 377-701 bought from ebay to make a full set.

Graham Farish 372-800 Class A1 60163 'Tornado' BR Doncaster Green good as new from ebay. Seller wasn't sure if it had been chipped - it has. Won with a single bid at the opening price of £95.00. I am well bloomin' chuffed with this buy. :laugh2:

Exactly the same as I did with my Tornado 2 years ago - same price too!   The first Farish loco I'd bought for decades, but just had to have one of these.  I have to say very impressed with it.

My BR black 5 arrived yesterday (eBay bargain), but now the long return process will have to be started  Described as smooth but when tested it was jerky and had a ticking noise!  :censored: Typical! Suppose its my own fault for even thinking it would "an excellent runner" which "moves moves smoothly in both directions". Shame as I was really looking forward to finally owning a black 5  :'(

Webbo

My guess is that the motion is binding a bit on one side or the other of the black 5. I had a Dapol A4 that did that brand new out of its box. Sent it straight back for a replacement.

bluedepot

my new graham farish class 37/4 in regional railways livery arrived at the weekend...

it looks good and runs very well!

here it is running with 2x network south east mk2s and 3x regional railways mk1s (i don't have many regional railways coaches so the network southeast coaches were drafted in...)
