Modelu also does some 'off the shelf' figures, based on people who've allowed their scans to be used.  I've got some loco staff who are actually volunteers on the Severn Valley Railway, I assume they feel right at home on the footplate of my ex-GWR locos...

The detailing on the modelu figures is exquisite and they aren't as tricky to paint as you might think.  Just make sure you have some brushes with very fine tips.
