Dr Al

All the spares for the old 20 are available, so there's no reason it shouldn't be fixable.

Cheers,
Alan

Hi
FWIW given the same wheelbase of locos to MK1 coaches it would be possible with a new dummy chassis fit pinpoint wheelsets - using the very thin sided older farish bogie  by removing axlebox details a midge and by thining backs of a set of frames cut off farish bogies - as Dr. Al says available as spares if you want to avoid a one way modification.
Make a fuel tank box - add lead to "taste" for weight
and hey presto a free wheeling second 20...

When I was a kid in the early 70s my bedroom overlooked the ex-Midland main line south of Tamworth.

I'm sure I saw 20s double-heading oil tanker trains to Kingsbury, coupled elephant style.

Best regards,

Joe
