Not sure if this is the right place to put this but here goes.

Anne bought this for me because of my pay issues on Friday 24th got it Sunday by courier on 26th, put it together on the 27th, just need to put it up and fill it now, but where and what with, i was thinking of those static models you can buy.

It is glass fronted and not that heavy, although it would take two to put it up on the wall, she paid £46 for it with free p&p, not bad i thought.

Happy Modelling

Bealman

Can you take the glass out? Make it easier to put up on the wall.

Graham Farish 371-635 Class 70 006 Freightliner BNIB from ebay. Wanted one for a long time, but not desperately enough to pay retail. Won this at a very reasonable price, so I'm happy.

I got one too from eBay and it runs well apart from when i run it backwards no lights come on. Not had time to put a photo up yet but it's the same has yours.    :claphappy:

4 more purchases from ebay. 3 have been professionally weathered to an excellent standard

371-601 Class 42 D822 Hercules - weathered

371-877 Class 108 2 car DMU

371-885 Class 108 3 car DMU - weathered

371-575 Class 45 D67 - weathered

I really like your Class 45.

austinbob

The warship and 45 look great with that weathering. Nice find.
   :beers:
Size matters - especially if you don't have a lot of space - and N gauge is the answer!

The 42 and 45 are very nice indeed. The combination of some very realistic weathering and super crisp photography lend them a look of realism that suggests a much larger scale than N.

Burned-out Brake Van from @Cooper . Sorry my (lack of) camera skills can't do it justice, but believe me it is a wonderful bit of modelling.

Purchased another Class 108  (371-877) for use as a donor model for a pair of Derby Lightweights.

https://www.shapeways.com/product/69A729AAV/2-x-derby-lightweight-514-515-n-1-148

Purchased this model online from C&M Models Carlisle for £72.00 (bargain for how prices are going, the latest production run is selling at £144)

A very good bargain. I maybe should have bought one (for the sake of nostalgia) but the latest prices are too rich.

This very fine looking Farish 47 set me back the equivalent of 25 quid or so due to being an unboxed "non-runner".

Well it runs, but with the expected clack-clack-clack of splitgearitus farishus so is awaiting arrival of round tuits so I can finally fix my growing fleet of duds.

I used to be indecisive - now I'm not - I don't think.
If a friend seems distant, catch up with them.

My latest purchase can be seen below on the track tidy along with some other fleet members.

56089 will be added to a growing section of stock aimed at what I call the "transition" era just after privatisation. I wasn't a fan of EW&S, Loadhaul, Transrail, Mainline etc but they are growing on me (with the possible exception of Transrail).
