Hi all,
I consider myself an amateur still when it comes to building model layout. Even though I have had train set since I was old enough to walk and have had about 8 layouts, my skill set isn't up to exhibition level.
But I must be something right as I have been asked again to appear at the convention in May to be another demonstrator.
Two years ago I was asked to do a demo, weathering for a complete novice. Having only started weathering in the weeks before things went well and I even ended up weathering locos on the day for some of the exhibitors( weren't they game given me a loco straight out of the box)
Anyway this time I have been asked to demo building professional looking control panel on a budget. I have put a couple of the ones up here on the forum from the layout I'm building at home.
So hopefully all goes well and I can show people how to build them cheap, easy and ones that look great.
Finally able to "give some back" for all the help people have given/shown me
Cheers
Bart
